Electronic/Lapping
Almatis has the special capability to produce alumina crystals with a very unique particle size and shape. Products P20 and P25 have an average particle size of 20 and 25 micron, respectively, and a plate-like structure which remains stable during milling. Beside several diverse applications this material is used for lapping of silicon wafers.
