This expansion of our global presence supply chain increases our local presence and executes upon our customer-centric strategy for growth through locally available inventories and shorter lead times.
Despite having the largest operational footprint in the specialty alumina industry, Almatis recognizes the impact of unforeseen shipment delays and short-term demand on our customers’ business. Not everything in business can be forecasted, and we are committed to helping our customers’ ability to be opportunistic with short term demand and a faster responding supply chain. The COVID pandemic, and export container supply delays of the past year have further strengthened the need for regional supply chain options, and local
material availability.
